In the early 80's the Surin and Similan islands were
designated as National Marine Parks by the Kingdom of
Thailand. There are over 30 different isolated islands
belonging to these areas their waters are replete with
seamount's, pinnacles, outcroppings and fantastically
varied reef and ocean life.
With the average water temperature of
29 C and the visibility ranging between 20 - 40 meters,
you will find perfect diving conditions. Large pelagic's
such as Manta rays, Sailfish and Whale sharks are frequent
visitors and residents. On the reefs live turtles, rays,
nudibranches, morays and literally millions of other
many-colored wonders!
